At Chatfield OzCool, we deal with a lot of highly adapted installations across various industries.
Thanks to our relationship with specialist equipment supplier, Channon Refrigeration (NSW), we can work together to deliver exceptional refrigeration technology to clients with unique and specific requirements such as McDonald’s stores, across Victoria.
We recently completed an installation at McDonald’s in Moama where Channon supplied bespoke, customised equipment for the store. To work with custom-made equipment, our Chatfield OzCool technicians undergo additional training to learn how to install and service the units.
The condenser units used at McDonald’s stores are specifically built and designed for purpose by Channons. The difference between these condensers and regular off-the-shelf condensers are that these made-to-order packed units have the refrigeration and freezer room, all built into one box.
The key benefit of this tailored equipment is the new age electronic controls. The fridge capacity controls (electronic expansion (TX) valves), electronically monitor and control the temperature as opposed to mechanical temperature controls. This means the temperature measurements are much more precise, allowing the equipment to operate more efficiently.
Chatfield OzCool conduct these installations at the McDonalds stores on behalf of Channon Refrigeration, the makers of this bespoke equipment. When new McDonalds stores are opened around Victoria, Chatfield OzCool will traditionally conduct the equipment installation, and commission the equipment on site, then once the store is operating, Chatfield will also conduct the first and twelve month services.
The team at Chatfield OzCool are available to assist with cooling and refrigeration equipment service and repairs, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
