Luke started his career as an automotive mechanic, which involved pulling apart engines of all sizes, from motor bikes and small cars, all the way up to large, heavy earthmoving equipment and trucks. This knowledge of motor mechanics comes from a love of rebuilding complete engine systems and understanding how things work from the ground up. While at Chatfield OzCool, Luke has also undertaken a second trade and is now a qualified refrigeration technician.
Luke has been with Chatfield OzCool for four and a half years now, and during that time his days have seen him undertake a variety of tasks, from preventative maintenance work to compressor changes, as well as diagnosing faults and electrical works. Most customers meet Luke when he is attending their site for maintenance and service call outs, as he is always certain to communicate and keep clients updated on the status of their equipment.
During his time off, Luke enjoys camping and 4-wheel driving. He also doesn’t mind a round or two of golf, when he can.
