If you’ve been listening to 3AW of late, you may have heard our name mentioned.
That’s because it’s that time of year again when Chatfield OzCool through our support behind a very special cause. This cause is Very Special Kids, an organisation that offers support and resources to families of children of young people, who have a life-limiting condition.
Once a year, Very Special Kids put together a magical day at the MCG, where selected children or young people along with their families, can come together to enjoy a range of spectacular activities with the aim of putting a smile on the faces of these kids who are facing either serious illness, a physical disability and/or intellectual disability and complex needs.
Chatfield OzCool’s connection with Very Special Kids began around 5 years ago, when Russell Chatfield received a call out of the blue. Once the fundraising representative explained to Russell what this organisation offers to kids, Russel threw his support behind the cause without hesitation.
