With 14 years’ experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic, David Weir came to Chatfield OzCool 4 years ago, with a wealth of knowledge and experience behind him.
Currently undertaking his A-Grade Electrical qualification, David is soon to have another very useful string to his bow.
In the past, David has also completed a Certificate III Traineeship in the metal industry which involved fabrication and machining in the automotive industry. This led to David working as a quality inspector for AVK Australia where he was responsible for carrying out dimensional, functional and minor metalogic testing for metal products.
These broad skills enable David to have a unique approach to his role as a Technician with Chatfield OzCool.
If those qualifications aren’t enough to keep David busy, he also completed a Diploma in Building and Construction during a time when he was considering becoming an owner builder, and he has plans to possibly take on an Electrical Engineering course down the track, just to ‘occupy his free time’.
