He’s been with Chatfield OzCool for over 23 years, so we thought it was only fitting that we take a moment for you to get to know a vital member of our team: Paul O’Brien.
Paul is our service supervisor and started with Chatfield OzCool back in the late 90’s. Over the years, he has built a reputation not only as an all-round great guy, but also as a great manager to the team of service technicians that he works with.
Performing the tasks of a service technician, Paul is also responsible for quoting jobs, supervising a team of technicians, acting as the job liaison while the team are out on the road and much, much more.
Leading the team of technicians working for Chatfield OzCool allows Paul to impart his excellent customer service skills, and guide the team of electricians, refrigeration technicians and apprentices in line with the Chatfield OzCool values to provide prompt, competent and friendly service to all customers. Over the years, Paul has seen countless team members start out as apprentices and supported them as they learn the trade and develop their skills while working with Chatfield OzCool.
What a lot of people may not know is that many years ago, before Paul donned the high-vis and work boots, he was a chef and worked in catering management. These days, when Paul isn’t behind the wheel of a Chatfield OzCool work van, or in front of a computer in the Chatfield OzCool office, he can be found on the weekends indulging his hobbies of gardening, travel, and doing handyman odd jobs around the house.
